Chianti 2007 - The Co-op

Another hit from the Co-op. These wine buyers are on fire, which is more than I can say for Sir Richard's lot :-)

On the nose, this surprises with its complexity and level of sophistication - subtle cassis. Very pure on the palate, like mineral water with a core of dark cherry fruit - really well-integrated acidity, this is a great food wine.

Fantastic value. And - from me no mean compliment - excellent Chianti.
