Sitting here this evening with Tony Frangipani, drinking a bottle of the Vinchio-Vaglio Serra Piemonte Barbera 2007. Quite a mouthful, unlike the wine itself. Grapey, light and watery. Good cold and midday after an hour of breathing says Tony. It's good table wine says Tony. This is a little bretty but has significant freshness on the nose behind that brett. And it is perfectly pleasant. For the price this is nice.
