Enjoying lunch with Gordon Romsey this afternoon, I am quite enjoying this light, easy-drinking, inoffensive style of Rioja. This one is old-school, quite floral and bugundian in texture tends towards the cranberry red-fruit end of the spectrum maybe.
For a £9.49 Rioja from the 2004 vintage however, this is a bit of a let-down, indeed, a bit of a rip off. Get yourself a bottle of the Faustino V instead.
Unless you're craving a nice bottle of cheap Burgundy. In which case, this might be worth a go...
