Two expensive but less impressive Spanish wines tasted recently. No notes taken at the time, so just naming the offenders:
Torres Gran Coronas 2005
Muga Rioja Reserva 2004
They might come into their own with time, but on the day - the Muga was average and expensive, the Torres was hard and thin. Surprised by the Torres because they usually make remarkably consistent and excellent wines at very reasonable prices.
