This is an excellent little wine from the Cotes du Ventoux. These wines are not typical big southern Rhone wines, but have a medium-bodied fruity profile. This one is a lovely summer red, nice acidity, red cherry flavours and a hint of spice. Excellent purity, nothing kinky or unusual here, and this works very well with food. A really nice example of a straightforward picnic/bistro wine
