A very round clean, pure wine, lovely freshness on the nose with a tropical fruit, pear and lemon vibe. Not much of the 'cats pee on a gooseberry bush in the grass' element you normally get with sauvignon, and a reasonable ringer for our good old friend Cloudy Bay, though maybe not quite as good?
Very classy, and OK at the 3/2 price but way too expensive if you're just looking for a single bottle...
Go on the web and buy it from Premier Vintners instead for less than a tenner!
