Beautiful fresh floral nose which hints slightly at the acidity on the palate. Rioja in a medium-bodied bistro style, this has an astringent edge, but in this case it is a positive, the wine has enough bollocks to balance that astringency very nicely. Anyway, if this is bistro wine, this is a classy bistro! Lovely balance and poise - in a budget style, but this is great stuff. As usual, a rip off unless you do the 3 for 2...
