'As I was saying the other night, I was drinking Hardy's Crest. I hated the fact that I liked it' I thought to myself as I had my first bang on the Black Shiraz. I don't know why I was thinking that. And I don't know what this wine does for me really. Aussie Shiraz is normally bosh, in your face. this one lacks body, lacks depth.
For a black wine, I might as well drink Black Tower - hang on, Black Tower is actually quite extreme, and it is white.
It has something, it has black fruit, but it is thin. I can look at it all I want, and I can drink it all I want, but it is not going to make me go 'wow, bang!'
Not a bad wine, not offensive, but not really a good wine either. A touch sardonic. I can buy better wine for £4
